Summer 2013

After posting about the year in review, I realized I have many other things we have done this summer. I know it is September but it still feels like summer especially since the past few weeks have been hotter than days in June or July.

Kris and I have been crazy busy this summer. This was the first summer that both of us were working. We tried to make the most of it and keep busy on the weekends. Let's just say summer went crazy fast! With working 40 hours a week and then trying to cram in the fun stuff of summer, time went by very quickly. We even managed to go to the pool almost every day during the summer. Now I know why we have been tired!

Anyways here are some hi-lights:

Glow Run 5K-Kris was able to run the 5K. I hurt my foot a week before so I was not allowed to even walk the 5K. I still went and cheered on the sidelines. 

4th of July- Watched the fireworks in Karney on the 3rd and then went to the movies on the 4th. 

1st Visit to Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun (Kris rode all the roller coasters too!)

Our actual 2nd Wedding Anniversary-Kris was sick so we had take-out from Anna's Oven and watched the Evil Dead and Safe Haven. 

 Our celebration of our 2nd year Wedding Anniversary- 

We went to Pierpont's in Union Station and then went and saw the To-Do List.

1st Royals Game-Royals vs. Tigers

Royals Won!!

All-Star Soccer Game-The night before the big All-Star game we were given free tickets to attend the event. They lost but it was neat to go!
